philanthropy enhances the quality of life in
our community. The Community Foundation of
Colusa County offers a simple, powerful and
highly personal approach to giving.
As a
donor, you can contribute cash, stocks,
bonds, retirement accounts, real estate or
other assets by choosing a giving method
such as direct transfer or bequest, which
meets your financial or charitable goals. To
secure your investment in the community a
donor may establish a unrestricted, field of
interest, designated, agency donor advised
or scholarship fund that allows the assets
to be appropriately distributed.
As a community foundation we will invest
your gift, and monitor the community needs
in all areas including economic
development, education, environment, health
care, and human services. In addition to
awarding grants and scholarships from the
earnings based on a donors charitable
intentions we will inform you of investment
performance and handle all administrative
details.
